German Springerle beeswax hand-poured ornaments feature a blackened Primitive Design with a lovely decorative border, cinnamon details, jute hanger and homespun ribbon. Before glass Christmas ornaments where made, German bakers would make beeswax ornaments out of their cookie and candy molds. They would sell the ornaments to their customers to decorate their homes and Christmas trees. Beeswax ornaments became an essential holiday tradition and will hopefully become yours too.

Our "German Springerle" ornament is made from pure beeswax dyed black and features a lovely raised primitive design that has been rubbed with cinnamon to show the details. You  will enjoy the natural sweet aromatic smell of pure beeswax and cinnamon. Our beeswax ornament is made from 100% pure beeswax and hand-poured the Old-World traditional way as it has been done for hundreds of years. 

Each ornament is prepped and poured by us one at a time. Colored ornaments are dyed with eco-friendly, non-toxic candle dye. Please note that colors may vary slightly from batch to batch, and that handmade candles and ornaments have naturally occurring imperfections that happen during the cooling process. Please allow for minor inconsistencies.

Each beeswax ornament comes in a cello bag with the history of beeswax ornaments and the care instructions. Pure Beeswax ornaments make wonderful wedding gifts, housewarming presents, or hostess gifts, or add it to your primitive rustic home decor. Made from 100% pure beeswax from our honey bees. Over time your pure beeswax ornament may develop a "frost" called bloom. This is a naturally occurring phenomenon which happens to 100% pure beeswax products. If your beeswax product develops a bloom; it can be easily removed with a soft cloth or a q-tip in crevices.
